Grace Howell, Program Director
Grace is humbled and honored to be the Program Director at GGA Kids Marin! Over the past 8 years at our amazing school, she has worked as an Assistant Director and as the Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. Her highest priority is working to ensure that GGA Kids Marin continues to provide the children and families in southern Marin with quality, play-based early childhood education, paving the way for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond. We have a wonderful team of educators here, and as Program Director she looks forward to the opportunity to use her administrative and classroom experience to come alongside each of them, equipping them in their curriculum planning, classroom management, and social-emotional education practices. She is also personally excited to spend time getting to know the children and families from all three classrooms! Her educational background includes a BA in English, an Early Childhood Education Certificate, and a Site Supervisor Permit from the State of California.
Grace was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and she still considers herself a Midwest girl at heart, which includes cheering for the KC Royals baseball team and the KC Chiefs football team! She is married to her incredible husband Steve, who is a minister in a local church, and together they have two awesome sons, one in high school, and one in elementary school. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, serving at church, swimming, and exploring the beautiful Bay Area with her family.
